Meek Mill Black American rapper born in Philadelphia has reflected on his desire to request for a dual citizenship in Ghana.
Following a tweet he made on X about America’s domineering to the growth of Blacks, hence he’s certain on settling in Ghana.
“I wanna get citizenship in Ghana!!!! America made to tear black men down if you don’t follow orders!” he tweeted in an X post on March 4, 2024.
Few days later, he shed light on the the fact that he’s not abondoning his American citizenship, but rather wants to have the Ghanaian citizenship too.
“I need dual citizenship in Ghana, I think I wanna go back and forth,” his tweet of March 7, 2024, read.
After his last visit to Ghana, where he performed at the 2022 Afro Nation music festival.
Meek further took the generous opportunity to visit the Jubilee house, where he met with H.E Nana Akufo Addo and had a meeting with him.
Notwithstanding the public scandal he had to face, due to filming of part of his music video at the seat of Government. Meek Mill has resent his mistake and rendered apologies to the citizens of Ghana.
Undoubtedly he did not take to heart to stop showing his Love for Ghana.
However after his performance and stay in Ghana, he has always indicated how he wishes to come back to the Motherland and collaborate with some Ghanaian artists.
