The Ghana Football Association (GFA) is said to be ready to reveal the selection of Otto Addo as the new manager of the Black Stars on March 15, 2024.
Sport Obama TV on YouTube reported that the GFA has given the German-based coach a long-term contract to oversee Ghana’s new initiative.
Nhyira FM previously reported that the Ghanaian coach, who was born in Germany, achieved the highest score among all the coaches interviewed for the available position.
Otto Addo will take over from Chris Hughton, whom he closely collaborated with during his initial tenure, if he is appointed.
Hughton was a technical advisor before becoming the head coach after the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Otto Addo’s initial task, if chosen, will be to face Uganda and Nigeria in a friendly match held in Morocco in March 2024.
